Our Story

European Governance Lab was founded with a simple conviction: understanding how the European Union works shouldn’t require a privileged background or an expensive master’s degree.

What started as a handful of online courses has grown into a comprehensive platform — offering expert-led programmes, research opportunities, and career tools to a community of over 2,500 students and aspiring EU professionals from more than 50 countries.

Today, EGL is more than a learning platform. Through our Analyst Challenges, publications, and career guides, we help our community do more than learn about EU governance — we help them build careers in it.

What We Stand For

The principles that shape every course, every resource, and every decision we make at EGL.

Accessibility

Education shouldn’t be gatekept. We keep prices low and open our content to anyone, anywhere.

Quality

Every course is designed and taught by practitioners and academics with real EU experience.

Career Impact

We go beyond theory — our programmes give you a competitive edge in the EU job market.

Community

We’re building a network of future EU leaders who learn from each other and grow together.

Our Leadership
