Dr. Iulianna Romanchyshyna is a legal and policy expert specializing in EU technology regulation, financial innovation, and digital assets. With a doctorate in law and over a decade of experience, she has worked with major international institutions including the European Commission (DG FISMA and DG ECFIN), WTO, and CEN/CENELEC, as well as advising private sector clients on MiCA compliance, DeFi governance, and tokenization strategies.
Her areas of expertise span EU tech policy, financial regulation, AML/CFT frameworks, and the governance of emerging technologies. She is currently a Research Contributor to the Blockchain Governance Initiative Network, a Consultant at W3bwise, and serves on the Advisory Board of Furt’her, a Brussels-based innovation think tank.
Dr. Romanchyshyna is also a former Marie Curie Fellow and has held academic and research positions at the University of Passau and within the World Trade Organization.
